Da Freakz remain number one, as they have been since Week 2. However, the margin between 1st and 2nd is the smallest it’s been since it was tied in Week 6. Breanne Dalton, after being a last place team for most of the year, has surged out of nowhere to take 2nd place in the poll. This is their highest ranking since being 1st overall in the post-draft poll.

Team Selby announced the change suddenly and with multiple text messages. Called Team Selby for the last two years, he has now changed his name to TheCollaboratedDream, a direct reference to the hit CD by M-Squared Records artists JB & Z, which includes ZSets owner Zach Gray.
Despite being in last place, Gray has been still in the headlines as this is the 3rd team name to be altered to reference him in some way. The other two, Z-Sets and Breanne Dalton, are from Dave Zigerelli.
“I figure i’ve been avoiding making fun of gray for years because he had something on me….just occurred to me that it’s a non-issue now” says Andy Selby.

It seems that a small collection of players remain convinced that Da Freakz are not for real as they have not placed him first throughout the entire season, and have named several different teams in first. This week, Breanne Dalton, on the back of a league record 9th trade this season, has three first place votes. However, enough other owners still think he won’t make the playoffs and have him rated lower, so he remains in the middle of the pack.
The once proud Team Shake franchise has dipped to the lowest of lows, just ahead of ZSets.

With the trade deadline only a few days away, you thought maybe the fireworks were over but Breanne Dalton has a hunger that no Bowser’s spaghetti night can satisfy. This time completing a trade with the elusive TastesLikeChicken owner, who Breanne Dalton’s owner Dave Zigerelli is still convinced does not exist.
BREANNE DALTON RECEIVES: QB Peyton Manning, WR Brandon Marshall, RB Pierre Thomas
TASTESLIKECHICKEN RECEIVES: QB Donovon McNabb, WR Randy Moss, WR Chad Johnson, QB Kyle Orton

Just as quickly as Thomas Jones joined Zigerelli’s franchise, it has left it. He has been shipped off to Team Selby.
TEAM SELBY RECEIVES: RB Thomas Jones, RB Kevin Smith
BREANNE DALTON RECEIVES: RB Marshawn Lynch, QB Eli Manning
Zigerelli described this trade as “The final piece of the puzzle.”
With all these recent moves, and just setting the single game scoring record. Dave Zigerelli’s franchise is quickly becoming feared in all corners of the league. He will need help to make the playoffs, but at this moment… Nobody wants to be alone with Breanne Dalton.

Dave Zigerelli and Aaron Jordan just completed a last minute trade before kickoff:
BREANNE DALTON RECEIVE: RB Thomas Jones
DA WATERHEADS RECEIVE: RB Steven Jackson
Jackson has been a disappointment for most of the season and is injured this week and possibly next week. WIth Zigerelli desperate to win out for a playoff chance, he didn’t have the luxury of waiting around.

We apologize for the delay of this week’s poll release, however here it is. (Poll is out of 10 submissions)
Da Freakz remains cemented at #1 after their 4th straight victory. And with The Team and Gagaliardi’s Gang losing, has a full game lead above everyone else.
Breanne Dalton’s team is making their much anticipated late season run. They’ve won two straight and may only be a game out of the playoffs if things go correctly today.

Reporting by Zach Gray
Pittsburgh Post Gazette
Ed Bouchette
Sports Editor
In celebration of the spooks and scares of Halloween, the Post-Gazette will analyze the league’s goblins and ghosts in the first ever edition of CTI’s Trick or Treat.
David Ziggerelli’s Team has the experience, the coaching, and the players. They have been missing one thing since entering the league - an identity. The Poleti crazed fan base has had 6 sponsorships (Backdoor -No Babies, Jem’s Deli, Polets, Z-Sets, Big M Muffler, and now Breanne Dalton). Sounds like football is the least of their worries in the front office of Whatever They Are Called This Week. Attempting to own every player in the league before the year is up might be a nice Treat to the CTI but if you think Zigerelli’s squad will find a Name or make the playoffs for that matter, then you’ve been Tricked.
DaFreakz have risen to dominance somewhat like the Center High School Boy’s Soccer Team once CTI Owner’s Casey Fenton, Carl Angeloff, and Zach Gray graduated. Good draft or just a good owner is a question that needs an answer. At 6-2 with a remaining schedule as easy Vince Buffalini in that lower B wing stall, it’s Fenton’s turn to answer. No Trick questions on this test, DaFreakz Treat us all to victory.
Expansion owner times two, Steve Barnett, is on his second tour of duty inside the CTI warzone commanding The Team Lives On. A rough start of 1-2 had us all Tricked into thinking his week was the Bye week (ZSets have since provided CTI Teams with their Bye week). Posting up huge numbers like he did in intramural hoops has everyone scared of the damage he might cause. Don’t be frightened, Barnett will get treated nicely as this post season moves along.
Nightmare on JennyLynn Drive could be a hit movie if someone actually knew what was going on at the dead end, culdesac, turnaround ending of a street. Whatever it might be, Carl Angeloff’s Team Shake is having a bad dream and its his season we are talking about. Not as bad as Center High School’s 67-0 loss to Seton LaSalle in the 2002 high school football playoffs, but Shake better Treat their fans better than the 30 plus point back to back losses in the past two weeks. Shake might need Stephany Hradil to turn this Trick if he wants anything to do with the post season.
Bobby Cutlip’s FallenAngels have had reports of paranormal activity in the past few games. Since going 3-1 the team has gone ghost posting a 1-3 record in its last four. The Treat ment of his team might be at fault as his record reflects him as a declining phenomenon in this year’s CTI. Don’t be Tricked by the .500 record, the Angels need to stay up if they want to compete.
Worse than the CHS High School Tennis Team’s first doubles team , Team Show me Those TDs needs to start Showing Up for starters. The only TD showing going on is Kim Eldridge and her famous TD dance that cool winter night. Owner Gabe Kachur has Treated the losses as a political stage for media outbursts. First it was the Coach’s Poll, then the loss on his Bye Week, and now a five point drop in the Coach’s Poll. His team name only Tricked Commissioner Fenton when the season first started, too bad his record can’t do the same for the League.
Happy Halloween from the CTI!
