I found that the toughest part of comics is creating the background scenery. Once I get a location set up, it’s a piece of cake to copy/paste some characters in and type out (sometimes) funny comments. I made a kick ass scenery earlier today, will premiere on the 7th. So look for that.

Today’s comic, Nothing to See Here, is one of my favorite concepts. The idea of humor without actually saying something has always been great. We’ve done a similiar comic to this in the past, and I really think it tells so much about Nuss’ character. The strip focuses on Nuss and the majority of comics have him in it, but meanwhile there is this whole world going on around him. Why are these things happening? Who really cares? It’s deep man, reeeeeeeal deep.

Hello world. The site appears to be all done. Just a matter of filling it up with new comics. Enjoy.

I know our return has been trumpted for over a month now, but I promise you we’re just about back. The biggest obstacle is in what format we wish to return. Stick figures provide the ease and quickness of updates, however I feel it limits the story severely.

Full toons take longer to draw, obviously look amateur, and are frustrating at times.

A combination of the two is creepy as hell.

I’m leaning towards keeping the toons but just limiting their actions/movements unless essential. Nobody cares about my artistic talent anyway, the writing should still be what you’ve grown to expect: Nuss Quality.
